“You Should Tell People They Can Track Their Trucks!”
I just received a call from a dispatcher who uses DeliveryMark. He was happy with DeliveryMark and loved receiving the proof-of-delivery documents.
He then said to me “You should tell people they can track their trucks using DeliveryMark!”
I paused. This was over the phone so he couldn’t see the surprised look on my face. “Huh?”
He again said to me “You should tell people they can track their trucks!”
I explained it’s on the web site and reminded him, during our demo, I had shown him that he can track his trucks.
He said ‘Well, you didn’t emphasize it enough. I use it everyday and it saves me time tracking down my drivers!”
I replied “I’m glad you like it. We love hearing from happy DeliveryMark customers. Please tell all your friends.” I also told him, going forward, we would emphasize that your can track your trucks using DeliveryMark.

Owner Operator Growing His Business With DeliveryMark
A year ago we had a conversation with a new owner operator. He had started his business with a used 2011 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 and a list of people who had told him they would “try him out” for their deliveries.
Initially he signed up for DeliveryMark, because he wanted to allow his clients to track their deliveries without contacting him. (Later, after a few months using DeliveryMark, he commented having the proof-of-delivery document made it easier for him to be organized and keep records of his deliveries.)
His initial clients have continued to give him business and have referred new clients to him. He has also started using load boards to add additional business. He “picks his spots” and only takes the more profitable deliveries.
He has expanded what he moves and has found interesting and unanticipated deliveries. For example, recently he moved an antique clock and desk that he had found on a load board.
We look forward to seeing him continue to grow his business.

Happy Valentine’s Day – Happy DeliveryMark – Thank You
Recently, at a friend's birthday party, we had met the owner of a small, local flower shop.
We “hit it off”, had a few drinks, and laughed a lot… Over the course of the evening we briefly discussed our families, businesses, careers, sports, etc…
Surprisingly, a few days later, we noticed they had registered for DeliveryMark.
We sent them an email asking if they had any questions or comments. They replied everything seemed to be understandable, and they’d email us if they had a question.
Well, that was four months ago and they are still using DeliveryMark. We had no contact since then.
Today, Valentine’s Day, there was a knock on our door but no one was there. On the porch was a bouquet of flowers with an attached card from the flower shop…
“… It was nice meeting you. We hope all is well. Happy Valentine’s Day…”

Conversation With An Owner Operator Who Uses DeliveryMark
I had a conversation with one of our DeliveryMark Delivery App users who hauls stone and sand. He’s an owner operator who has been on his own for 8 years.
Business is good. He has consistent work. Occasionally he would misplace or lose paperwork but he had few major problems.
Recently he got a new Samsung Galaxy S8. He installed various apps including Gmail, FaceBook, FaceBook Messenger, and Instagram.
Not being a necessity, but since he was looking for apps, he looked around for apps that would allow him to go paperless.
Why not? He could stop using it if he didn’t like it. He installed it and upgraded so he could use it as a hauler. (It’s only $7 / mo). He played with the app for a little while and quickly understood how to use it. (Note: There is a collection of DeliveryMark Help Videos on YouTube.)
That was 6 months ago and he’s been using it ever since. He likes not having paper and, when he needs to go back to a past job, he can just look on his computer. He's very happy using DeliveryMark and continues to use it.

Retail Store Takes Control of their Deliveries and Customers
Yesterday we spoke with a recent DeliveryMark registrant and user. She’s a florist and had read our post called “Deliveries. Your Business. Your Brand.” She (“Sue”) immediately signed up for DeliveryMark. (She had previously used an outside service for her deliveries.)
Sue and two employees work in the shop. She made it sound like it was a busy shop. She registered for DeliveryMark and downloaded the app onto her cell phone. She played with it and got familiar with it. She personally made the first delivery that day.
She found it was easy to use the app. Sue felt comfortable that her people would immediately understand how to use the app and have no problems making deliveries. She had them download the DeliveryMark app.
After a few days Sue left the outside service and had her employees start handling all local deliveries.
She likes the idea of “her people” interacting with customers. They always give out a business card (magnet) to the people. She emphasized to her people to be personable and polite to the customers. She feels good about this change and feels it will be good for her business.
She thanked us for our support. We thanked her for sharing her story!
